The Barham & District Horticultural Society is a friendly active local society which promotes and stimulates interest in all aspects of gardening - from growing vegetables, flowers, shrubs and trees to the quiet enjoyment of gardens and their wildlife. So whether you like to just relax and admire the efforts of others, or you like the challenge of trying to grow, bake or arrange superb produce for showing, there is something for everyone. January 2026 7pm
There will be a quiz and 2 competitions, best small posy from your garden and a vase of flowers and foliage from your garden. Display these in your own vases.

BDHS December News
Our final talk of the year was given by Darren Everest, Dahlia and Sweet Pea Exhibitor. Darren has been showing Dahlias for almost forty years and Sweet Peas around 30 years. In 2024 he was awarded the NDS Silver Medal for services to the Dahlia and won four consecutive Gold Medal awards at RHS Chelsea, BBC Gardeners World Live, Blenheim Palace and RHS Hampton Court, and all in the first half of the year.
